I’m Brad Crihfield, your current Bellflower Unified School Board Member representing District 5 — the Lakewood portion of our district — and a proud Lakewood parent.
Since 2022, I’ve helped lead real progress — from securing long‑overdue campus improvements and launching new student programs to strengthening school safety and making sure families are heard.
This campaign isn’t about promises — it’s about proof. In 2026, I’m asking for your vote to continue the work we’ve started — staying focused on students, responsive to our community, and committed to the future our kids deserve.

Brad Crihfield is a committed public servant with a proven record of leadership and community involvement. He has served in every leadership role on the Bellflower Unified School District School Board, working collaboratively to make thoughtful, student-focused decisions.
Beyond the school board, Brad serves as City Safety Commissioner for the City of Lakewood and Board Member of California Advancing Pathways for Students (CalAPS) is dedicated to developing and providing quality Career Technical Education (CTE) for students, helping students connect education to real-world careers.
Brad believes strong schools are built on transparency, accountability, and clear communication with families, educators, and the community.

Every student deserves a school environment where they feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. I’ve prioritized safety upgrades, smart planning, and open lines of communication with families.

Great schools start with great educators. I believe in listening to teachers, respecting their expertise, and giving them the tools and support they need to help every student succeed. I'm proud to be endorsed by BTA our Bellflower Teachers Association.
Community Engagement
Schools work best when families are involved. I’ve fought for transparency, communication, and access because when we bring the community in, we make better decisions for kids.
Bright Futures
From early learners to graduating seniors, every student deserves a path forward. I support programs that build real-world skills, confidence, and opportunities — in and beyond the classroom.
