As a part of the Bellflower Unified School District, I am committed to helping our students build future success by providing them equal access to quality staff, courses, activities, services, and resources based on their individual needs. My goal is to ensure that our teachers and staff have the knowledge, skills, expertise and resources to ensure continuous improvement for all students so that they are prepared to be globally competitive. I am devoted to creating a respectful environment that fosters learning through positive relationships and engagement among students, adults, and our diverse community.

MEET BRAD
Born in Pomona California in 1986, I was raised in low income housing, seeing first hand the impact of poor public policy had on the youth of my community. From a very young age I took interest in how government programs created generational economic inequity and contributed to lack of educational opportunity for so many.
My step-father moved my Mother and 5 brothers to Lakewood in 2001 where I was fortunate to attend Lakewood H.S. This community quickly became my home. After graduating from Long Beach City College and obtaining my degree in political science from Cal State University of Long Beach, I was able to buy a home in the city I love.
I pull from all my life's challenges and triumphs, all my experiences to make continue my work in improving our educational system, advocating for all our students and being the type of community leader that I believe represents the values of those I serve.
Being elected to the Bellflower Unified School District has been an honor and I want to represent the very best of what our district has to offer our students, community and society as a whole.
